Subhasit Ratnam is the author of The Invisible Score. His work spans technology, financial services, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and risk management. He holds a Master’s in Computer Science and writes to help young readers, parents, and educators understand the systems that quietly shape everyday life.

I write because I enjoy making complex ideas feel simple.

My background spans technology, financial services, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and risk management, and I hold a Master’s in Computer Science. But what I really love is the moment a hard idea suddenly clicks - the exact moment a technology stops feeling intimidating and starts feeling knowable.

I wrote The Invisible Score because I wanted my own children - and every young reader I’ve ever taught, mentored, or spoken with - to understand the systems that already shape their lives. I wanted them to feel curious, not confused.

The Invisible Score is an engaging story that helps young readers understand how artificial intelligence quietly influences many of the decisions and experiences they encounter every day. Through relatable characters and real-world situations, readers discover how AI shapes recommendations, education, finance, online experiences, and digital life while developing curiosity, critical thinking, and responsible technology habits.
